The Good, The Bad and the UFOs

As a lady, one of the most exciting aspects of the impending awards season is seeing the fashion feats and fails, and last night's People's Choice Awards were no exception. These shows can spark thousands of overnight knockoffs by way of cheaper copycat designers. The vibe for this particular show is a little more fun and relaxed. While there's no pressure to debut a houte couture gown, this is still Hollywood and everyone is still trying to avoid the Worst Dressed lists.

1.Taylor Swift showed up in this lovely little number by J. Mendel. It does wash her out a bit and would have looked great in a cardinal red or navy, but is beautiful nonetheless.

2. Emma Roberts looked fun and age-appropriate in this Christian Dior cocktail dress.

3. Kristen nailed the glittery sequin look in this minidress by Reem Acra.

4. Zac Efron looked positively dapper sporting his Burberry three-piece suit.

5. This Irina Shabayera dress was my favorite of two outfits Selena Gomez wore.

1. My favorite commentary on this Betsey Johnson dress that Katy Perry sported referred to it as a "bubblegum paint splattered mess of tulle that wishes it was an 80s prom dress." Ouch.

2. Nice message. Bad dress. Try again Pauley Perette.

(A quick explanation: the UFOs below are Unidentified Famous-person Outfits. In other words, they look good, but I'm not sure who they're wearing. Now back to your regularly scheduled blogging.)
1. Ashley Benson looked super cute as well in her very architectural mini dress. Too bad we don't know where to find it!

2. Glee's Cory Monteith looks great from the ankles up. His look is very pulled together in this suit by...who? I don't know. We'll forgive him for his choice in footwear this time.

3. Johnny Depp balanced his messy look by donning a well fitted three-piece classic suit. He probably found it in his closet before stumbling out the door.
