Lady Gaga is super stoked. The bombastic singer who has, of late, become a champion of those gay, lesbian and bisexual, tweeted that she "can't wait any longer" to release her newest single, Born This Way. The song was set to be released February 13 but will now come out February 11, despite the lyrics having been leaked a few weeks ago.
After perusing the lyrics, it's even more clear the song's message is basically what you'd gather from the title. It's her declaration that "we were all born superstars" despite sexual orientation, race or upbringing "'cause God makes no mistakes" that I imagine will become an anthem of sorts for many.
Not knowing what the song will sound like didn't stop Ellen and friends from taking a stab at the melody. Gotta be honest, after hearing their renditions I might be disappointed with Gaga's version...
UPDATE: The song is out and we are not fans. It's way 80s sounding and a bit gimmicky. Sorry to say it Gaga, but this is not the hit you made it out to be.
